Vineyard at Monbazillac
We visited this Vineyard at Monbazillac
in Sept and spent 2 nights there. The owners do not
speak English, however they were incredibly friendly
and helpful never the less. Lots of pointing and gestures.
The pitches are terraced and generally level with
superb views over the vineyard and when we visited
there were another 5 vans well spaced. There are picnic
tables at each pitch and the owner provides levelling
blocks if required. Water is available as is toilet
emptying facility. Its about 8 km from Bergerac and
well signed. It was the start of our tour of the Dordogne
and we were sad to leave.
